• When the guys basically kidnap Mick to go to the bar they walk by a bunch of boxes and Dougal grabs a box of Tastykake Butterscotch Krimpets and throws them to all of the guys. The guys then proceed to rub them on their chests. It's is a known fact amongst Philadelphians that one must rub the Butterscotch Krimpet icing side down on a surface in order for the icing to stick to the sponge of the cake and not the plastic when opening the pastry. Otherwise icing and sponge will separate and you're left scraping icing off of plastic.

• The setting of Darby Heights is based on is actually Upper Darby, PA. The screen writer, Greg Lingo's hometown. The letter UD on the wall in the bar are from the local Upper Darby High School.
