• In season 3, episode 5: Martin, played by actor Paul Reiser, watches the 1982 movie Diner on tv. The scene he is actually watching shows a much younger Paul Reiser in his very first movie role.

• When the show announced its renewal for a third and final season, it was also revealed that Alan Arkin wouldn't be back and that he made clear to the producers doing the second season that it was his final season.
