• On Thursday, 24th January 2019, Sky Television announced that they had commissioned a 14-episode third series of the show to be broadcast in Autumn 2019 and a fourth series for 2020. The Russell Howard Hour has been the most successful new entertainment series to launch on Sky One since 2010 and has proved popular on social media.
• On Thursday, 17th December 2020, Sky Television announced that it has commissioned a fifth and sixth series of the topical comedy programme. The 14-episode fifth series will air in 2021 with series 6 expected later on in the same year. Series 4 of the show has attracted some of the highest viewing figures since the programme debuted in 2017. The series continues to be very popular online with over 400 million views of content from the show across social media since the launch.
