Storyline

Observation is a sci-fi thriller uncovering what happened to Dr. Emma Fisher, and the crew of her mission, through the lens of the station's artificial intelligence S.A.M. Players assume the role of S.A.M. by operating the station's control systems, cameras, and tools to assist Emma in discovering what is happening to the station, the vanished crew, and S.A.M. himself.

Did you know

• At one point Dr. Emma Fischer references a movie she once saw where the astronauts blew themselves out of an airlock. She is referencing the movie "Sunshine"

• Lead voice actors Kezia Burrows (Dr Fisher) and Anthony Howell (SAM) also voiced the lead characters in Alien: Isolation (2014), where they again played a space-bound survivor and an artificial intelligence respectively.

• During the course of game, various flags are seen, representing the various factions that had a hand in space station Observation's construction and management. One of the flags visible is a Welsh flag, which is clearly a nod to Kezia Burrows, who is Welsh and provided the voice and motion capture for the man character, Dr. Emma Foster.
