James Clayton

James C. Clayton is an award-winning director, actor, producer, and founder of Play By Play Entertainment. With over twenty years of experience in the industry, James is well versed in all aspects of production. He develops, finances, packages, produces, and directs feature films, specifically in the action/horror genres. As an actor, James has appeared in hit shows such as Fringe, Minority Report, Supernatural, Timeless, The 100, Firebug, and made his feature film debut IN K:19 The Widowmaker, starring Harrison Ford and Liam Neeson. James starred in the psychological thriller Candiland (2017), alongside Chelah Horsdal and Gary Busey and in the horror Residue (2017), alongside Matt Frewer, Taylor Hickson, William B. Davis, Costas Mandylor, and Elysia Rotaru. His directorial debut Bullet Proof (2022), which he also produced and starred in alongside Vinnie Jones, was released theatrically & On Demand by Lionsgate and IndustryWorks Studios in North America and worldwide. He's executive producing the crime thriller, Slant (2025), starring Stephen Dorff, and his latest directorial effort, Get Fast (2024), which is the sequel to Bullet Proof, will be released worldwide in theaters and digitally by Well GO USA Entertainment on November 15, 2024.
