Sameer Thahir is an Indian cinematographer, director and scriptwriter. He did his graduation from Maharajas College, Ernakulam, from where he found his desire for cinema and photography. Started his career in cinema industry as a cinematographer for the movie "Big B" directed by his mentor Amal Neerad in the year 2009 and directed his first movie in Chaappa Kurish in the year 2011. Sameer Thahir himself proved him as a good cinematographer and director today in Malayalam film industry. Sameer married Neethu in the year 2013.
