Storyline

The 3 Stooges are cleaners at a spaceport when they accidentally take off and land on Venus. The boys encounter a talking unicorn, a giant fire breathing tarantula and an alien computer that creates three evil duplicates of the Stooges.

Did you know

• The only feature film with Joe DeRita that contains a Stooge eye-poke. The Stooges received a resurgence in their popularity at this time, as their shorts with Curly were being shown in television syndication and had become a big hit with children (which was why this series of movies were targeted for younger audiences). The boys later deleted the eye-poke gag from their routine, as angry mothers began to protest that children were poking their eyes out after repeatedly seeing it on TV.

• This was the first filmed project to involve new Stooges material since Columbia closed their Shorts Department and the first to include the new, and final member, of the trio, Joe DeRita.

• If the space suits The 3 Stooges wear seem very baggy on them, it's because they were designed for taller individuals. As they are the same suits used by the three astronauts in the Twilight Zone episode "Elegy".
