• Barbara Windsor's screentime was severely cut, on the instructions of Jayne Mansfield.
• The character of Ponytail is stated as sixteen years and one month, but Barbara Windsor was already twenty-two-years-old during filming.
• According to Christopher Lee on page 233 of his autobiography, Lord of Misrule, an alternative version was released with Jayne Mansfield's nipples painted out. This is true; in the black and white version, the song number "Too Hot to Handle" is reworked throughout so that Jayne Mansfield's bra appears solid white rather than see-through. This required frame by frame animation work.
