Did you know
• Olof Sjögren, who portrays the cobbler Snäll, originally auditioned for the role of the "Country Store Owner". A profession he had in real life for almost 30 years. He was instead cast as the drunken cobbler, even though he never had a drink in his entire life.
• This movie and its sequel (More About the Children of Noisy Village (1987)) were shot back to back and it ends at the same moment that the other one begins (the last thing you see of the six children in this film is that they leave the Bullerby village to go to school on the first day after the summer holidays, and the first thing you see of them in the next movie is their walk to school on the same day).
• The village where the Bullerby movies were recorded is called Sevedstorp. During the summer more than 2,000 people pass the village every day to see the three famous houses where all the characters live in the movies.
