⢠Alan Rickman ad-libbed the line about calling off Christmas.
⢠Sean Connery: King Richard. Connery reduced his requested fee of $1 million to $250,000 for two days' work due to the movie already running over-budget. He donated the money to a hospital in his native Scotland. Connery had previously played Robin Hood in Robin and Marian (1976).
