Sebastian Knapp portrayed an Apostle in two television movies about Jesus of Nazareth, but had different roles. Matthew in Jesus (1999) and John in The Bible (2013).

Giorgio Palombi replaces Eric Thal in the scene where Samson fatally pulls down the Temple of Dagon while being chained between two pillars to ultimately defeat the Philistines.

This Biblical television miniseries and Disney's George of the Jungle (1997) used both live male African lions and a mechanical replica of the lions that would appear in the attack scenes. The mechanical lions in both live action productions were supplied by Jim Henson's Creature Shop (respectively from London, England and Burbank, California).
