• The French girl Genevieve says that her interview has "gone for a Guiness", a deliberate misquote for the expression "gone for a Burton", giving strength to the theory that the expression originated with a series of adverts for Burton Beer, which featured an empty chair and someone saying "he's gone for a Burton". Of course, this doesn't prove the origin, because Burton Beer may simply have used the pre-existing expression for their own advantage. The expression generally refers to someone having an accident, or even dying.
• The image of Eve is actually based on Botticelli's Birth of Venus.
• Filmed in Ireland.
