Did you know
• When the game was still in production, Nintendo Power published some mid-production photos of the introduction stage at the beginning of the game. These photos featured a futuristic cityscape background that was not in the final version of the game, as well as enemies not from the intro stage.
• Only Mega Man X game in which X doesn't start the game with a Dash ability.
• All eight Maverick levels have a hidden heart tank. A sub tank is hidden in four of them.
