Did you know

• Most of the main characters were named after the band members of the Russian music group, Bering Strait. Although there was no character named after band member Sergei "Spooky" Olkhovsky, the word "spooky" was conspicuously used in the dialog.

• The film was mainly created by a team of biologists from Cold Spring Harbor, NY, with none of the filmmakers, actors or actresses having any prior experience in filmmaking of any kind.

• The role of Bound was originally supposed to be played as an additional role for actress Allison Blum, but due to both an illness and a family emergency, the role was recast days before shooting.
